Hak Ely is a non-profit makerspace in downtown Ely. It is a platform for socializing, networking and connecting ideas. We get together and make things happen – and all of our projects are community-defined. In 2018 our members volunteered over 350 hours of free public classes and workshops; to name some of them: Tech Tuesdays, Weaving Wednesdays, Ely Field Naturalist Classes, 3D Printing Thursdays, Virtual Reality, and Programming in Python. We provide 6500 ft² of community-space for organizations to host events and programs as well as audio, video, and networking equipment and expertise.

Over time, members will come and go, and almost all will leave something behind and increase the value of the space for others.
